Social Groups and Projects

Now that VB Projects is released a a free MOD with VB4.0, can you work on integrating Project Tools to you social groups MOD.

THis was requested at Vb.org by 11 people under paid MOD.

ALso note that there is a MOD called SocialForums which integrates Forums into Groups (dicussions become like a forum discussions).

Your MOD adds events functionality.

Adding Projects will make a complete product.

Thanks

  1. i’m actually evaluating what i would do in the vBulletin market for the next months. as this site was dedicated to vb 3.8.x for the last 2 years and we have still projects to write down on that version, i do not know if we’re going to work a 4.0 generation soon…

for your suggestions, that’s part of what we plan for the Calendar integration, so if we move, we’re going on these first.

  2. Thank you for the reply. I am not looking for 4.0 but instead looking for integrating Projects into Vb3.8 version in Social Groups.

IMHO, it will take 6 months before 4.0 is stabilized as CMS is messy and no real value added features.

Let me know if you will have sometime to work on this MOD in the near future.

    Cheers –

  3. Adding project functionality into groups would be very nice. Im not sure if PT would even be useful for it, since its integration so far is aweful. Checkout http://projectfork.ning.com/ for a real PT.

As much as I currently dislike the state of affairs with vb4, I’d be interested in a vb4.1 version of your social groups addon.
